ideal spot for city walks and nearby attractions
During my stay, I appreciated being just less than a 5-minute walk from several restaurants and nearly 2 km from Kalahari Waterparks, which made my city strolls enjoyable and accessible. the comfortable amenities truly made it feel like a home away from home for my solo adventures.

The location offers a quick 10-12 minute drive to Cedar Point, making it a solid choice for thrill-seekers. Plenty of nearby restaurants and a large Walmart add convenience for family travelers.
Towels were notably absent in the pool area, and only four chairs supported three tables, limiting available seating at times. The lounge chairs felt broken down and saggy, which didn't make for a comfortable lounging experience. Unfortunately, the room lacked a fridge and microwave without paying extra, which might be disappointing for families wanting quick meal options. The shower water pressure drizzled out weakly, and a broken bathroom door handle made access to the bathroom a hassle.

We had such a nice time during our stay, especially enjoying the clean and comfy standard double room and the awesome indoor pool. Just a heads up, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, but overall, we’d definitely come back! 😊

Comfortable Stay with Great Location
I had a wonderful stay with my family! The indoor pool was a hit and the location allowed us quick access to nearby restaurants and attractions. However, the breakfast lacked fresh options and could be improved with a wider variety of items.

The extra pillows and comfortable beds made for a pleasant overnight stay. The room was clean and nicely arranged, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, the breakfast selection was limited, lacking options like eggs or sausage, and the room felt a bit cramped with no tub, only a shower stall. There was also some mold on the grout which was a disappointment.

It was just a perfect match for a brief stopover in Sandusky with great value for the money. The front desk staff were friendly and helped me with my concerns promptly. Be aware that the breakfast options were quite limited, so don’t rely on it too much.

The staff at Sleep Inn in Sandusky made my stay so enjoyable. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Evan and John. I needed a couple of extra towels and pillows, and they remembered my requests right when I checked in. The continental breakfast had great options—waffles, cereal, and breakfast sandwiches. I had no problem finding a comfortable spot to relax, and the indoor pool was a nice touch for some fun. But, I did encounter some issues. The internet connection was spotty, which was frustrating since I needed it for work. Also, the shower water pressure was disappointing. It barely trickled out, making a quick rinse take forever. Lastly, I expected a mini-fridge and microwave, which weren't included in my room. Next time, I'll double-check that. Overall, I appreciated the friendly service and good breakfast, but the connectivity and bathroom issues need some attention.

The hotel was a great base for our family with two teenagers during our stay. We enjoyed visiting the Thomas Edison Birthplace Museum, where we saw some incredible inventions and learned about his life. The spacious rooms and clean facilities made our experience even better.
In my wife's opinion, the pool area could use better supervision for kids. It would be great to have more family-friendly activities available at the hotel.

Pretty decent stay overall!
Me and my buddy stayed for a night and paid $126, which was a bit steep for the tiny room. The bed was super comfy, though—no bed bugs, yay! The hot tub was pretty small and not the cleanest. Plus, the waffles for breakfast didn’t impress. On the upside, the pool was nice and warm, perfect for relaxing!
